SPARQ's open architecture design allows the flow of information both to and from the application.  We have worked with many systems including payroll, time-clock, labor distribution, benefit providers and others.

Payroll Interface Module

The Payroll Interface Module is an automatic link that transfers changes in HR data to both in-house and service bureau payrolls. This process automates the data collection, editing and formatting of HR data for the payroll system. It also provides tools for defining your company's payroll cycles, the various pay groups, and run time options for special needs.

Once installed, the Module eliminates duplicate entry between HR and payroll. Further, it insures consistency of your information between the two systems, by providing a single source of entry for common fields. Best of all, it requires no additional workload in HR. The module is smart enough to determine that changes need to be made to the payroll, often without you making the change.

By defining the fields in the data dictionary, the system automatically tracks when changes are made, and stores that information separately. This process remains the same for all payrolls regardless of which product/company will be receiving the changes. Additionally, SPARQ tracks your pay cycle start and end dates, and will store changes related to each pay cycle. This process allows the user to rerun a payroll interface if there was a problem with the original file, or if additional changes needed to be made.

The optional Payroll Information screen in the Employee database is available to capture payroll-specific data. It includes information such as State and Federal Tax codes, Marital Status, Exemptions, additional pay rates and other related information. Unique client-specific fields have been left on the screen, to support the personalization of the interface.
